In 1991 Bishop Ricky O’Neal came out of Tabernacle of Prayer for All People Inc. of Jamaica, NY under the leadership of Apostle Johnnie Lee Washington
In 1991 when Bishop Ricky O’Neal relocated to Charleston, SC services were first held at Greater Beard Chapel on Hanover Street when Elder Rodger Washington was Pastor
1992 – Bishop O’Neal moved congregation and began services at new location 2012 Reynolds Avenue in North Charleston as Tabernacle of Prayer For All People, Inc.
1993 – Bible Classes, Street Team Ministry, Drug and Alcohol Forum sessions and television broadcast on channel 36 where his motto was “A church on the hill where everybody is somebody.”
2002 – A groundbreaking ceremony was held where members travelled from the old church location after morning service to the new location at 3775 Spruill Ave. North Charleston, SC 29405
2006 – A dedication service was held at the new location on Spruill Ave where Bishop O’Neal founder Greater Joy Tabernacle Fellowship Ministries, Inc.
2010 – Bishop O’Neal placed Greater Joy Tabernacle under the leadership of Bishop Liston Page Sr. Th. DD of Greater Highway Deliverance Ministries of New York and Worldwide
In March 2011 our beloved founder Bishop Ricky O’Neal transitioned from earth to glory
March 2011 – October 2011 Greater Joy Tabernacle was under the leadership of Bishop Liston Page Sr., Dr. Wanda Page, and Dr. Hazel Page of Greater Highway Deliverance Ministries of New York
In October 2011 Greater Joy Tabernacle was then placed under the leadership of Elder Terrance Trapp until November 2014
November 2014 – Greater Joy Tabernacle was blessed to have Dr. Wanda Page return as our Interim Pastor.
December 8, 2018 - Dr. Wanda Page was installed as the Senior Pastor.
September 13, 2020 - Dr. Wanda Page was led to change our name. We are now known as Greater Highway Deliverance Temple of Charleston S.C.
